Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a Program Manager to lead large, multi-project CIP programs valued in hundreds of millions to over 1B, representing the owner and coordinating designers and constructors.

You will manage all phases of planning and execution, lead multi-disciplinary teams, communicate with senior clients, and drive risk and cost management across the program in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in a senior project and/or program management role; PM, EM, Planning, Project Controls, etc.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight and direction to B&V project managers, construction managers, program professionals and subcontractors.
• Operates in complex management environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Interacts with senior government or public officials and/or executive level clients on significant project matters.
• Manage and supervise complex engineering design or construction by 3rd parties as owner's representative.
• Prepares and delivers presentations in support of client's programs.
• Assesses and actively manages risk on behalf of client and B&V.
• Routinely resolves high risk or very difficult issues with significant scope, schedule and or financial impact.
• Develops and reviews cost estimates and provides cost management throughout the program execution,
• Applies advanced understanding and application of project management core processes and methodologies.
• Utilizes lessons learned to strengthen B&V's program management processes, procedures and tools.
• Assembles, trains and mentors staff using internal and external resources.
