Black & Veatch is hiring a Program Manager to lead large, complex CIP projects and serve as the owner's representative with 3rd party designers and constructors. The role requires oversight of multi-disciplinary teams, risk management, and presenting to clients on program progress.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in a senior project and/or program management role.
• PM, EM, Planning, Project Controls, etc.
• Ability to lead or oversee design of multiple design projects in relevant sectors.

Responsibilities

• Provides oversight and direction to project managers, construction managers, program professionals and subcontractors.
• Operates in complex management environments with multiple stakeholders.
• Interacts with senior government or public officials and/or executive level clients on significant project matters.
• Manage and supervise complex engineering design or construction by 3rd parties as owner's representative.
• Prepares and delivers presentations in support of client's programs.
• Assesses and actively manages risk on behalf of client and BV.
• Routinely resolves high risk or very difficult issues with significant scope, schedule and or financial impact.
• Develops and reviews cost estimates and provides cost management throughout the program execution.
• Applies advanced understanding and application of project management core processes and methodologies.
• Utilizes lessons learned to strengthen BV's program management processes, procedures and tools.
• Assembles, trains and mentors staff using internal and external resources.

Education

MSc Eng. or MBA or similar

Active P.E., PgMP, or PMP
