Job summary

Enviva is seeking a Sr. Manager, Capital Projects to lead planning and forecasting for capital spend across sites. You will own the CAR process and coordinate with project owners and finance to deliver credible capital forecasts.

This role reports to the VP of Capital Projects & Procurement and supports Enviva sites globally. You will manage a team of Project/Construction Managers and Project Controls staff, optimize schedules, and drive continuous improvement in capital management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• Minimum of ten years of capital project and/or project management experience.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor individuals and teams.
• Strong focus on safety and high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain the capital plan with current, budgeted and strategic forecasts.
• Own and manage CAR process, workflows for capital planning and project approvals.
• Establish monthly, quarterly and annual capital spending and forecasting processes.
• Facilitate capital spending communication between operations, PM and finance for credible forecasts.
• Lead a team of portfolio managers, project managers, construction managers and project controls.
• Guide planning resources and engineering best practices across the company.
