Job summary

Enviva in the United States is seeking a manufacturing process leader to identify and implement improvements that increase throughput and efficiency across the plant. You will lead a hands-on manufacturing team, drive reliability initiatives, and collaborate with the Best Practice Team to align improvements across Enviva plants.

The role emphasizes strong engineering judgment, project management, and a focus on safety and quality in a wood bioenergy production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical).
• 5+ years in a process engineering/manufacturing role; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process design and improvement.
• Ability to define engineering work statements and provide accurate labor estimates.
• Self-starting, detail-oriented, with strong planning and project management.
• Effective leader with excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and tactical leadership in Environmental, Health, and Safety.
• Lead a Manufacturing team to improve processes, efficiencies, and throughput.
• Oversee initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and process improvements.
• Value stream map processes to identify gaps and waste.
• Lead equipment and process changes to improve finished product quality.
