Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide cordial, responsive and accurate customer service.
• Monitor and update the capital asset subsidiary ledger, ensuring assets meet materiality thresholds are capitalized and depreciated.
• Manage capital project accounting: set up new projects, monitor budgets, and provide reports to the Finance Director.
• Review budget overages and coordinate amendments with departments.
• Collaborate with County departments and auditors on capital asset issues and questions.
• Perform year-end capital procedures including depreciation and ACFR preparation.
• Review accounts payable for potential fixed asset additions.
• Prepare grant reports to ensure expenditures align with awards and reimbursements.
• Assist departments with financial information and budget amendments related to capital projects.
• Create/update procedural manuals.
