Job summary

Lamb Weston is seeking a Project Engineer II to advance capital projects at the Richland plant. You will lead multiple project phases from design through startup, including creating and maintaining plant drawings using AutoCAD and SolidWorks, and collaborating with maintenance and production teams to ensure on-time delivery.

The role requires a four-year engineering degree and 2–4 years in production processing, maintenance, or supervisory roles, with strong PC and CAD skills. EIT preferred.

Qualifications

• 4 year degree in engineering or related field.
• 2 to 4 years production processing, maintenance, engineering, or supervisory experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks; strong PC skills including Windows, Word, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of project work including design, CIR write-ups, developing contractor bid packages, overseeing project installation, cost tracking, training and startup support.
• Make, revise, and maintain all plant drawings using AutoCAD/SolidWorks or similar.
• Perform analyses to develop design options and cost impacts.
• Work with maintenance supervisors on plant issues.
• Assist in maintaining contractor safety program.
• Support the Process Safety Management program.
• Develop and maintain the long-term capital plan.
• Originates formal project requests and investigates problems to develop solutions.
