Job summary

Alaska Power is seeking a Senior Manager, Project Delivery in Anchorage to lead planning, execution, and closeout of capital projects across transmission, distribution, and renewables. You will coordinate Engineering, Procurement, Construction, safety, and regulatory compliance to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

This role drives governance, cost control, and performance metrics, establishing disciplined processes and stakeholder reporting while mentoring teams to strengthen internal

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of similarly complex experience in project delivery, construction, or capital programs.
• Experience leading capital project governance, cost control, and reporting.
• Strong ability to coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, planning, operations, finance, and legal.
• Proven ability to develop business cases, budgets, and schedule baselines for major projects.
• Knowledge of RFPs, contracts, procurement, and contract administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of capital projects.
• Provide governance for scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, safety, and stakeholder communication.
• Oversee project controls, cost estimation, and budget oversight.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure safety, compliance, and on-time delivery.
• Lead or support RFP development and contract strategy for EPC and construction work.
• Establish project delivery processes and closeout standards, ensuring proper documentation.
