Job summary

Aqua Pennsylvania, a leader in water and wastewater services, is seeking a Capital Project Engineer to oversee a portfolio of capital improvement projects across the state's northeastern region. You will manage scope, schedule, and budgets, travel to project sites, coordinate with regulators and local officials, and ensure compliance with standards to deliver reliable infrastructure for communities served.

Field-based work and office collaboration are expected as you guide projects from concept

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 5+ years of design experience, with a focus on water and wastewater projects.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) certification, or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Pennsylvania driver's license and ability to operate company vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage capital projects for water and wastewater systems.
• Develop annual capital improvement plans and estimate costs.
• Coordinate multiple projects with internal teams, consultants, and regulators.
• Prepare permit applications and manage approvals at all levels.
• Track budgets and timelines using Aqua Pennsylvania's finance systems.
• Maintain system maps and hydraulic models.
• Support safety inspections and regulatory compliance.
• Provide technical due diligence for potential acquisitions.
