Cardinal Health is seeking a Senior Capital Projects Manager to lead a North America team responsible for capital investments in material handling equipment and facility infrastructure. You will manage $50M–$70M annual spend, drive asset lifecycle planning, and partner with site leaders to prioritize maintenance, repairs, and replacements to support safe, reliable operations.

The role requires a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and ROI, with SAP and Excel proficiency and experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field preferred.
• Advanced degree desired.
• 8+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Experience managing large-scale capital projects in distribution or manufacturing environments including MHE and facilities.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams across North America.
• Strong capital budgeting, spend management, forecasting, and business case development.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel with data analysis skills.
• Experience with IBM Maximo or similar asset management systems is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of project managers overseeing $50M–$70M in annual capital spend across MHE and facilities.
• Drives MHE and facility capital strategy, including asset lifecycle planning and make-versus-buy analysis.
• Partners with site leaders to prioritize upkeep, repairs, and improvements for roofs, RTUs, restrooms, and parking.
• Modernizes asset tracking across North America to improve data accuracy and visibility.
• Oversees scope, planning, resources, and schedules to deliver projects on time within budgets.
• Develops 3–5 year capital plan; leads annual budgeting with monthly forecasts.
• Presents business cases and funding requests to executive leadership.
• Evaluates suppliers and contractors to control costs and ensure quality.
• Collaborates with Finance and site leaders to align investment needs.
