Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Capital Investments Manager to lead a North America team overseeing capital spend on MHE and facility infrastructure. You will drive asset lifecycle planning, budgeting and forecasting, and present investment cases to executives for funding.

The role partners with site leaders to prioritize upkeep such as roofs, RTUs, restrooms, and parking areas while improving asset data and cost visibility. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience managing large-scale capital projects in distribution or manufacturing.
• Experience leading geographically dispersed teams across North America.
• Strong capital budgeting, spend management, forecasting, and business-case skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel; strong data analysis.
• Experience with asset-tracking systems like IBM Maximo is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of project managers supporting North American operations with $50M–$70M annual capital spend.
• Develops and drives MHE and facility capital strategy and lifecycle planning.
• Collaborates with site leaders to prioritize roof, RTU, restrooms and parking lot projects.
• Modernizes asset tracking to improve data quality and lifecycle insights.
• Manages project scope, timelines, budgets, and disruption minimization.
• Maintains a 3–5 year capital plan with annual budgets and monthly forecasts.
• Develops strong business cases and secures funding from executive leadership.
• Selects suppliers and contractors and manages stakeholder relationships.
