Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking an Associate, Capital Portfolio Management to support the management of the company’s portfolio of private capital facilities across the full project and corporate lifecycle. This role collaborates with Finance, Legal, Accounting, Development, Asset Management, Treasury, and Engineering to ensure governance, compliance, and efficient deployment of capital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent in finance, accounting, engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years experience in project/infrastructure finance, asset management, or similar complex capital facilities.
• Experience with project finance debt during construction and related compliance tracking.
• Strong ability to coordinate across external lenders, equity partners, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing management of private capital facilities across project and corporate levels.
• Maintain disciplined portfolio management practices, including tracking capital structures and governance documentation.
• Assist in construction loan draws, conditions precedent, lender notices, and reporting obligations.
• Support post‑close relationship management with project equity, tax equity, and JV partners.
• Coordinate with Legal, Engineering, Accounting, Treasury, and Development to enable governance and reporting across the portfolio.
• Help build out a scalable Capital Portfolio Management platform and promote automation.
