BCG Attorney Search in San Francisco seeks a Capital Markets Resource Attorney to support marketing efforts, develop know-how, and enable practicing attorneys to work more efficiently. The role is not client-facing and does not bill time.

You will stay current on regulatory developments, prepare client alerts and white papers, maintain internal resources, and collaborate with Marketing and Professional Development to share knowledge and improve practice-wide performance.

Qualifications

• Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of capital markets experience.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting.
• JD required; bar admission in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Stay current on regulatory developments for Capital Markets.
• Develop topics for client alerts, white papers, and tools.
• Maintain internal resources to enhance know-how exchange.
• Create and update archives of work product and know-how.
• Coordinate speaking events, webinars, and materials.
• Update forms and templates reflecting current legal developments.
• Collaborate with Marketing to boost Capital Markets branding.
• Provide information to Marketing for RFPs and business development.

Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Capital Markets Resource Attorney in San Francisco. This role focuses on enhancing marketing and business development efforts, strengthening the creation and sharing of substantive know-how, and enabling practicing attorneys to be more informed, efficient, and successful. The attorney will not work directly for firm clients and will not bill time.

Duties

• Stay current on legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Capital Markets practice group.
• Develop topics for and assist in preparing client alerts, white papers, and external-facing tools.
• Maintain internal practice resources to enhance know-how exchange within the practice group.
• Create and update archives of work product and know-how.
• Coordinate speaking arrangements, webinars, and materials.
• Maintain and update forms and templates to reflect current legal developments.
• Collaborate with Marketing to enhance the Capital Markets branding and presence.
• Provide information to Marketing for RFPs and business development opportunities.
• Coordinate with Professional Development for skills enhancement and training.
• Work with Information Services to develop and support new technology solutions.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in capital markets transactions.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance and SEC reporting requirements.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.
