Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a senior leader to manage Capital Markets Operations within Wholesale Banking, spanning origination, servicing, and funding support. You will coordinate across Investment Banking and Capital Markets, the Broker Dealer, and foreign exchange, driving automation and risk governance while partnering with technology to deliver scalable services.

The role requires deep subject matter expertise, 15 years in financial services operations, and FINRA licensing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in business, finance, accounting or related field.
• 15 years leading operational teams in financial services.
• Broad product knowledge across CIB operational functions.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Experience implementing complex projects and managing tight timelines.
• Experience with global process/workforce management.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives and service delivery for Invest Banking & Capital Markets in strategic planning and governance.
• Partner with front office leaders to support revenue growth and service evolution.
• Identify pain points and drive automation to reduce manual processes and enable revenue growth.
• Develop and maintain risk governance and operational risk management systems for Capital Markets Service Delivery.
• Oversee third party vendors and ensure sourcing and cyber security compliance.
• Stay updated on market trends and regulatory changes to adapt processes.
• Handle talent activities including recruitment, retention, performance, and training.
• Lead supervisory tasks for Broker Dealer and Securities Based Swap Dealer.
