Job summary

Truist Securities Inc. and Truist Bank seek an experienced leader to oversee Capital Markets Operations within Wholesale Banking.

You will guide service delivery across IBCM platforms, manage risk, and drive automation and efficiency in origination, servicing, and funding support. As the primary operations contact, you will partner with technology teams, supervise brokers, and shape strategic directions to support revenue growth while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting or related field or equivalent education and related training.
• 15 years leading Operational team(s) in the financial services industry.
• Broad product knowledge across operational functions supporting CIB, including equity and fixed income, derivatives, and syndications.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; able to influence diverse groups.
• Experience with global process management and offshore/multi-location teams.
• FINRA licenses and familiarity with broker-dealer operations and capital markets services.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives and the service delivery team within Invest Banking & Capital Markets in strategic planning, management and exaction of processes, programs and governance to support investment related activities in support of IBCM
• Partner with front office leaders to support strategic vision and revenue growth in Capital Market Service Delivery
• Identify operational pain points and set a strategic vision to create efficiencies and increase automation
• Develop and maintain risk governance and operational risk management systems for Capital Markets Service Delivery
• Oversee third party vendors, suppliers and services and ensure sourcing and cyber/security items are resolved timely
• Stay up to date on market trends and regulatory changes to adapt processes accordingly
• Lead talent activities including recruitment, retention, performance management and development within policies
• Maintain knowledge of Truist procedures and regulations
• Register as Principal for supervision of Broker Dealer and Securities Based Swap Dealer
