Job summary

Truist Financial Corporation is seeking a senior leader to oversee onboarding and maintenance activities within Investment Banking and Capital Markets for Wholesale Banking Service Delivery. You will lead teams handling Institutional Fixed Income, Equity, Swap Dealer, FX, and Loan Syndicate client onboarding and offboarding to ensure risk controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field required.
• 10 years of financial services experience preferred.
• Proven leadership and team-building ability.
• Strong relationship-building across organizational levels.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
• Experience in dynamic trading/sales environments.
• In-depth knowledge of systems, trade lifecycle, and risk framework within Capital Markets.
• Knowledge of ISDA Amend, Dodd-Frank UMR rules, FINRA TRACE, MSRB, CAT, CAIS and DTCC.
• Knowledge of Swap Dealer and Foreign Exchange operations.
• Experience managing onshore/offshore processes.
• Proven track record in risk and issues management and risk controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee optimization of client integration and lifecycle to Investment Banking and Capital Market products.
• Develop and implement programs for new account setup, maintenance, and off-boarding of institutional clients.
• Consolidate and document client opening and maintenance processes and drive automation.
• Implement operational controls to ensure regulatory and internal compliance.
• Oversee strategic planning and execution of technology solutions for lending portfolios.
• Lead process design and implementation to improve onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding.
• Develop long- and short-term goals to support onboarding and revenue objectives.
• Lead business process transitions including pilot programs and offshore expansion.
• Manage risk controls and remediation with GCO partners and stakeholders.
• Serve as SME and respond to auditors, regulators; implement required changes.
