Job summary

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department seeks an experienced accountant to support its capital construction program in the Administration Finance Branch. You will manage project cost records, process purchasing and expenditures, and reconcile funds under supervision.

A bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and two years of related experience are required, with a Texas Class C license within 30 days. Preferred experience includes CAPPS, automated financial systems, and Procore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Banking, Finance, or closely related field.
• Two years of accounting or finance experience.
• Possess or obtain a valid class 'C' Texas driver’s license within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and oversee capital construction project cost records.
• Prepare and process capital construction purchasing and expenditure transactions.
• Oversee and reconcile capital construction project funds.
