Job summary

Your Remote Assistant, Inc. is seeking a Project Accountant in Austin, Texas. This role will support Development and Construction teams by ensuring accurate accounting for projects from setup to completion. Responsibilities include documenting construction payables, preparing loan draw support, and generating financial reports.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, 2+ years of accounts payable experience, and strong knowledge of accounting principles. Proficiency in Excel and Yardi is highly desired.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree.
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Excel and Yardi highly desired.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Document all aspects of construction payables.
• Prepare loan draw support and ensure all documentation is complete.
• Communicate with the project team to ensure project budgets are updated.
• Generate monthly financial reports including Job Cost Budget vs Actuals.
• Support on any accounting-related activities during the Month-End close.
