Pharmaceutical Company in Hillsboro, OR is seeking a Project Document Controller (PDC) to support a major CAPEX/engineering project. The role combines 50% document control and 50% project administrative support for the project team.

Responsibilities include managing documentation lifecycle, implementing document workflows, and developing Project Document Control and BIM Plans in alignment with company standards. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in project document control or related roles.
• Experience supporting CAPEX, construction, engineering, pharma or manufacturing projects preferred.
• Experience with ACC and/or BIM 360 preferred.
• Strong knowledge of document management and control processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Technical expertise in engineering, business administration, construction, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain electronic document workflows and processes.
• Develop and maintain Project Document Control and BIM Plans for CAPEX projects.
• Ensure project documents are reviewed, tracked, version-controlled, archived, and accessible.
• Maintain document status tracking, milestones, look-ahead schedules, and overdue document reporting.
• Coordinate document transmittals, approvals, and project deliverables.
• Support final handover to the site repository while ensuring company standards are met.
• Maintain appropriate user access and document security.
• Provide document management training and support to project team members and contractors.
• Support project onboarding, badging, and IT access processes.
• Coordinate visitor access and escorts when required.
• Assign and track required project training.
• Schedule meetings and manage project calendars.
• Prepare meeting materials and maintain project records.
• Provide general administrative and operational support to Project Managers.
