DBI Projects is seeking a Project Manager to lead capital improvement projects for cooperative, condominium, and affordable housing developments across New York City. The role centers on managing building-wide capital work from planning through closeout, serving as the day-to-day point of contact for shareholders, boards of directors, property managers, and the full project team.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in architecture, construction management, or related practices.
• Direct experience delivering capital projects in coop/condo and/or affordable housing.
• Familiarity with NYC public agency landscape (DOB/HDC/HPD) is critical.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead meetings with boards/residents.
• Ability to manage budgeting, scheduling, procurement, change management, invoicing, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Client interaction and project team coordination on CapEx projects.
• Manage contractor schedules, budgets, and procurement.
• Serve as liaison among shareholders, boards, property managers, and vendors.
• Lead group meetings and deliver presentations to boards and residents.
• Navigate NYC agency processes and reporting requirements.
• Oversee site supervision and construction administration.
