Job summary

Assistance Technique Internationale is seeking a CapEx Engineer to lead the coordination and integration of mechanical engineering for projects within a manufacturing environment. You will act as the Mechanical SME for assigned projects and drive solutions with broad strategic impact.

You will work within an integrated Project Team to identify opportunities, define scope, review designs, manage budgets, and develop specifications and schedules to ensure successful project execution.

Responsibilities

• Identify technical solutions for opportunities and problems in the manufacturing environment.
• Determine the Project Scope.
• Review and revise mechanical engineering designs developed by others to support the implementation of engineering solutions.
• Identify the required Project Budget and control Project spend to the Budget.
• Identify the Project Implementation Plan and implement Project per the Plan.
• Develop the required Project Specifications to support the design and procurement of the Project solution.
• Evaluate Technical Specifications provided by Outside Suppliers for conformance to Project requirements.
• Develop and maintain the Project Schedule based on the Project Implementation Plan, considering the availability of the impacted Operation.
• Lead Project Resources involved in the Mechanical aspects of the Project in achievement of the Plan.
• Coordinate the resources at the Project location to install and commission the Project solution, through the achievement of the Project Objectives.

Overview:

As a CapEx Engineer, you will lead the coordination and overall integration of the Mechanical Engineering of Projects within a manufacturing environment. This includes leading/participating in the design and implementation of solutions for technical challenges, serving as the Mechanical SME for the specified projects. All projects will have an extensive strategic impact on the future of ATI.

In this role, you will be working within the structure of an integrated Project Team to:

• Identify the technical solutions for critical opportunities and problems within our manufacturing environment.
• Determine the Project Scope.
• Review and revise mechanical engineering designs developed by others to support the implementation of engineering solutions.
• Identify the required Project Budget and control Project spend to the Budget.
• Identify the Project Implementation Plan and implement Project per the Plan.
