Job summary

TRAC Builders, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent with 5+ years of construction field experience to support projects across Cape Cod and the Islands. You will work closely with the Superintendent and Project Manager to manage field operations, safety, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, maintaining records, and ensuring quality and progress. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential; willingness to travel is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction field experience in a supervisory role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and site logistics.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day supervision of on-site activities.
• Support safety, quality, schedule, productivity, and field operations.
• Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, and clients to ensure progress.
• Review drawings and specs for constructability and coordination.
• Maintain project records, field logs, and daily reports.
• Participate in planning meetings and critical path scheduling.
• Travel to project sites throughout Cape Cod and the Islands.
