Job summary

Hill Bros Logistics is seeking a Capacity Manager in Omaha to lead a team of Capacity Coordinators and Carrier Sales Representatives. You will coach, guide pricing decisions, and expand our carrier network to support customers across markets.

You'll leverage analytics and market data to drive decisions, grow carrier partnerships, and ensure top performance in on-time pickups and deliveries, while collaborating with Account Managers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing two or more people.
• Experience in logistics sales highly preferred.
• Ability to analyze carrier data and market trends to guide negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of Capacity Coordinators and Carrier Sales Representatives.
• Use data and market insights to set pricing and negotiate with carriers.
• Identify new carriers and build lasting partnerships.
• Monitor on-time pickup and delivery performance and drive improvements.

Hill Bros Logistics is looking for a Capacity Manager to lead our team of Capacity Coordinators and Carrier Sales Representatives. This role blends sales, account management, and operations leadership. You'll coach a team, shape our pricing, and grow the carrier network that keeps our customers moving.

What You'll Do

• Lead and Coach: Develop your team to build strong carrier relationships, run account reviews, and deliver exceptional service every day
• Buy Smart: Use carrier analytics and market data to guide negotiations and buying decisions
• Set the Market: Track trends and seasonality to set pricing by market, daily, weekly, and monthly
• Grow the Network: Research new carriers, generate leads, and turn them into lasting partnerships
• Drive Performance: Track and trace carriers to hit our 100% on-time pickup and delivery target
• Connect the Dots: Serve as the liaison between Account Managers and the Capacity team to match capacity with customer needs
• Innovate: Spot opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve the carrier experience

Requirements

What We're Looking For

• 1-3 years of proven team management experience leading two or more people
• Logistics sales experience preferred
• Comfort with carrier analytics, market data, and pricing decisions
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; TMW Suite experience is a plus
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent work experience considered
• Strong communicator who can coach, negotiate, and present with confidence
• Self-motivated, accountable, and persistent, with fresh ideas to bring to the team
