Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Supervisor to oversee the Capacity Command Center, coordinating Transfer Center operations, bed placement, and patient flow across multiple facilities. You will manage staffing, scheduling, and frontline issue resolution to ensure safe interfacility transfers.

The role requires nursing leadership with BSN, ACLS/BLS, and experience in transfer centers or acute care settings, plus strong data analytics to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• RN with BSN and current licensure
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Experience in transfer center or patient placement
• Experience in acute care; strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Capacity Command Center
• Manage staffing, payroll, scheduling and frontline issue resolution
• Monitor KPIs and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with ambulance vendors and transport teams for timely patient movement
• Travel between community network sites to ensure consistent workflows
