Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a Capital Planning Analyst within the Wexner Medical Center Space Planning group to optimize the capital investment lifecycle through analytics, standardized reporting, and portfolio governance.

This role partners with Finance, IT, FDC, FOD, and Supply Chain to translate data into executive-ready insights, accelerate planning, and drive adoption of digital tools across the planning team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in data analytics, business, finance, construction, IT.
• 6 years of relevant experience required; 8–12 years preferred.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Finance, IT, capital asset management or Facilities.
• Advanced Excel and Power BI for automated dashboards; proficient PowerPoint for executive narratives.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate the capital planning lifecycle through analytics and standardized reporting.
• Transform raw data into actionable insights to enable project prioritization.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, FDC, FOD, Supply Chain and IT partners to optimize processes.
