Job summary

The Outreach Team is seeking Field Directors to lead canvassing efforts in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. You will train staff, run door-to-door conversations, and drive office goals while reporting to a Lead Director.

Strong leadership and a passion for community organizing are essential to build local support and advance our campaign objectives. This role requires hands-on field work multiple days a week, managing 40–60 hourly staff, promoting equity, and ensuring safety and quality as you scale

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 40–60 hourly staff canvassing communities.
• Canvass yourself several days a week to train staff and drive goals.
• Set goals and hold staff accountable.
• Train and motivate staff with ongoing support.
• Identify, promote, and train a leadership team.
• Build a diverse, equitable, inclusive team culture.
• Implement quality control and ensure safe working environment.
• Develop strategic plans to reach targeted constituents.
• Manage reporting, payroll, and distribution of materials.
