Job summary

The Outreach Team in Nebraska is seeking Field Directors to build community support for an independent Senate campaign. You will train canvassers, lead by example in the field, and help staff plan and report progress to the Lead Director.

We value leaders who can motivate a large team, canvass several days a week, and promote equity and inclusion. Lincoln and Omaha, NE locations, with a salary of $1,146–$1,500 per week plus benefits and opportunities for advancement.

• Willingness to canvass several days a week and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 40-60 hourly staff and canvassers to engage community members about local energy projects.
• Train canvassers and lead staff to achieve office goals and maintain reporting.
• Set goals and hold staff accountable; develop leadership within the team.
• Foster a diverse, respectful culture with a focus on equity and justice.
• Oversee administrative duties, including data reporting and payroll distribution.
