The Outreach Team is seeking Canvass Field Directors to lead a large field operation in Nebraska, including Lincoln and Omaha. You will supervise 40–60 hourly canvassers, train staff, and ensure campaign goals are met through hands-on field leadership and regular reporting.

• Eagerness to lead from the front and canvass several days a week.
• Extreme attention to detail and a proven ability to instill that quality in others.
• Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong passion for community organizing and fostering civic engagement.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 40-60 hourly staff who will canvass door to door to talk to community members about local clean energy storage projects and build community support for a reliable, affordable energy future.
• Canvass yourself several days a week to train staff and drive office goals.
• Set goals and hold staff accountable to them.
• Train and provide ongoing motivation and support to staff.
• Identify, promote, and train a leadership team.
• Build a diverse team where staff feel respected while fostering a culture of equity and justice.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure the integrity of the work.
• Maintain a healthy and safe working environment for all staff.
• Develop strategic plans to reach targeted constituents in assigned locations.
• Manage administrative duties, including reporting data, record keeping, processing payroll, and distribution of materials.
