Job summary

UT Health Science Center in San Antonio seeks an Academic IT & Technology Specialist to support IT processes and LMS operations, with emphasis on Canvas. You will assist faculty and staff in day-to-day operations and contribute to education technology initiatives.

The role requires full on-site attendance in the Bexar County area, involving LAN management, AV/teleconferencing support, and development of workflows for research and education needs.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of related experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and PC/MAC software, hardware, OS, and networks.

Responsibilities

• Provides IT support for assigned unit(s) including LAN management, website design, hardware/software installation and troubleshooting.
• Develops database applications and queries/reports from institutional databases.
• Creates and maintains workflows and reviews/improves them.
• Supports customers and coordinates testing of new technologies.
