Job summary

Dunwoody College of Technology is seeking an Academic Technology Specialist to manage the Canvas LMS, oversee course setup and term management, and coordinate onboarding for partner districts. You will support students, instructional teams, and district staff, ensuring accurate enrollments, timely reporting, and scalable operational processes.

The role emphasizes collaboration with academic and technology teams, a focus on continuous improvement, and delivering a high-quality learning experience

Qualifications

• Experience administering Canvas LMS in higher education or K-12 settings.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Ability to support online, hybrid, or technology-enabled learning environments.
• Experience generating reports and maintaining operational data.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer Dunwoody Immersive's Canvas environment across all offerings and districts.
• Configure courses, sections, enrollments, and terms each term.
• Prepare Canvas environments for new district implementations and launches.
• Coordinate onboarding of partner districts and manage student enrollment workflows.
• Maintain documentation, procedures and reporting standards for scalable growth.
• Provide robust student support and resolve Canvas-related inquiries promptly.
