Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. is seeking an Account Executive to drive cannabis wholesale sales in Maryland. The role focuses on acquiring and expanding accounts, educating buyers, and delivering strong growth across a statewide territory.

The ideal candidate has proven B2B sales ability, registered with state cannabis commissions, and can travel extensively 4–5 days a week. A reliable vehicle is required and 21+ years old.

Qualifications

• Cannabis wholesale sales experience required with track record in selling branded cannabis to dispensaries.
• Strong understanding of Maryland cannabis market and regulatory environment.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Must have access to reliable vehicle for frequent travel within the assigned territory.
• Proven B2B sales experience with consultative approach and growth opportunities via solution-based selling.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify prospects, capture new accounts, and expand spend within each account.
• Develop and expand accounts with strategic relationships at various levels, focusing on influential buyers.
• Set appointments, conduct in-person visits, emails, and cold calls.
• Provide market feedback on product preference and positioning to inform strategy.
• Monitor sales trends and compete with market research to support brand goals.
• Introduce products through marketing collateral and in-store demos across accounts.
• Educate accounts on products using provided materials and demonstrations.
• Maintain CRM records with regular updates to reflect market activity.
