Renew Cannabis Co. is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and educational consulting at our Prospect Heights, IL location. You will assist customers and patients in selecting products and provide guidance on usage within regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes a friendly, knowledgeable demeanor, ongoing cannabis education, and teamwork in a fast-paced retail setting. Prior retail experience and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and pass a criminal background check.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product applications.
• Ability to use office equipment and software (Word, Excel, email).
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and local cannabis laws.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and usage concepts (not medical advice).
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure accurate online orders for pickup.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and storefront.
• Understand and apply compliance regulations as required by local/state laws.
