Job summary

Green Thumb in Ohio is seeking a Personal Care Specialist to engage customers in a welcoming retail environment and guide them toward appropriate cannabis products and consumption methods. You will educate customers, stay current on product knowledge, and help maintain a positive, compliant store atmosphere.

The role requires 1+ year in customer service, flexible scheduling including evenings/weekends, and the ability to pass background checks for cannabis employment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience.
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements (e.g., mornings, days, nights, weekends).
• Must have reliable attendance and be 21 years or older.
• Must pass background checks including cannabis employment requirements.
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Must comply with all legal/company cannabis regulations.

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients/customers in a customer-facing retail environment.
• Educate customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction.
• Recommend a safe and effective regimen based on each customer’s needs and stay up to date on product knowledge.
• Promote a positive, customer-oriented store atmosphere.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and support store operations with management.
• Ensure compliance with local/state cannabis regulations and keep the floor stocked and presentable.
• Follow security measures and safety procedures.
• Maintain records as required and assist in daily duties across Front of House, Back of House, and maintenance tasks.
