Verano Holdings Corp. in Ohio is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service, educate guests on cannabis products, and assist with transaction accuracy at the point of sale.

This role emphasizes compliance with state and local regulations while fostering a welcoming retail experience. You will support store leadership, maintain accurate METRC/BioTrack inventory, stock displays, and promote responsible usage.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with local/state regulations.
• Willingness to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application methods.
• Proficient with basic office software (Word, Excel, email).
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Educate customers on cannabis products, methods and usage as a wellness product.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure accurate online order fulfillment.
• Maintain clean, organized, and compliant store front and workstation.
• Stock and replenish inventory; support managers as needed.
• Understand and apply cannabis compliance regulations.
