Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. seeks a Cannabis Advisor to provide exceptional customer service and educational consulting for cannabis products in a retail setting. The role includes patient record management in some cases and staying current with product information.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience, be 21+, and pass a background check with appropriate state badging. A strong focus on compliance and customer care is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21+ years old and compliant with regulations.
• Background check and state badging required.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application.
• Able to use office equipment and software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn applicable federal, state and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to customers and patients.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and usage options.
• Assist with inventory, displays, and regulatory compliance.
• Process transactions at POS and ensure accurate METRC/BioTrack updates.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and store front.
• Support managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
• Adhere to all local/state/company regulations and safety standards.
