Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service, educational guidance, and accurate POS transactions in our Aurora, IL retail location.

You will help customers understand cannabis products, stay compliant with state regulations, and maintain a clean, organized shop environment. The role requires 1-2 years in retail or hospitality, 21+ years old, and a willingness to learn about cannabinoids and product applications while using basic office software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging as directed by state ordinances.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment and software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learns and understands Federal, State, and local cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Provide cannabis product information and education while avoiding medical advice.
• Help customers navigate products and promote repeat business.
• Maintain clean and organized workstation and store front.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure inventory accuracy in systems.
• Support managers and teammates as needed.
