Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. in Chicago, IL is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and educational guidance while assisting with patient record management where applicable. You will help customers navigate cannabis products and advise on usage, ensuring compliance with local regulations.

In a fast-paced retail setting you will process POS transactions, maintain clean displays, and support managers and fellow Advisors. 21+ and retail experience required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging as directed by state ordinances.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software (Word, Excel, email, etc.).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to the cannabis industry and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional individualized customer service and education to customers and patients.
• Help customers navigate cannabis products and educate on usage as a wellness product.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation and front of store.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure inventory systems are updated accurately.
• Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of regulated and unregulated inventory.
• Support managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
