Verano is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional individualized customer service, educational consulting, and assist with patient record management where applicable.

The role focuses on greeting customers, educating them about cannabis products, and navigating product selection while ensuring compliance with state regulations. It requires a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21+ and comply with all local, state regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging required.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software (Word, Excel, email).

Responsabilités

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Be an advocate of cannabis customer care and education.
• Help customers navigate cannabis products and usage as a wellness product.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Provide information on product types, methods, and efficacy (not medical advice).
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workstation/storefront.
