Job summary

MUV is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to deliver exceptional customer service and educational consulting in a retail setting in Florida. You will assist customers and patients, educate on cannabis products, and support store operations while ensuring compliance.

The role requires 1-2 years of retail experience, a high school diploma, and a willingness to learn about cannabinoids and product applications. A background check and state badge may be required, with a focus on safety and customer care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and state badging may be required.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment and common software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand Cannabis laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate cannabis customer care and education.
• Educate customers on cannabis as a wellness product and assist with product selection.
• Build rapport with regular customers to promote repeat business.
• Work well in a fast-paced, retail environment with others.
• Provide information on product types, methods, and efficacy (no medical advice).
• Pursue ongoing cannabis education and training.
• Support managers and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation/storefront.
• Ensure accuracy of online orders before pick-up.
• Understand and apply local/state compliance regulations.
• Stock, merchandise, and replenish displays of inventory.
• Process transactions at POS and update inventory systems (METRC, BioTrack).
• Perform other duties as assigned.
