Job summary

Verano Holdings Corp. seeks a Cannabis Advisor to provide exceptional customer service, education, and basic patient record management in a fast-paced retail setting. You will greet customers, explain product options, and ensure accurate order processing while maintaining compliance with state regulations.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in retail or hospitality, a willingness to learn about cannabinoids, and the ability to navigate office software. 21+ and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Criminal background check and appropriate state badging as directed by state ordinances.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product application/consumption methods.
• Ability to use office equipment (computers and printers) and their included software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Advocate cannabis customer care and educate on product use as a wellness option.
• Explain types, methods and efficacy of cannabis products (no medical advice).
• Build rapport with regular customers for repeat business.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure inventory accuracy in the system.
• Maintain a clean, organized front-end and comply with regulatory requirements.
