Verano Holdings is seeking a Cannabis Advisor to provide exceptional customer service, educational consulting, and accurate order handling in a retail setting.

The role emphasizes helping customers understand cannabis products, maintaining store standards, and complying with local and state regulations. A background in retail or hospitality along with a willingness to learn about cannabinoids is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of retail or hospitality experience.
• Must be 21 years of age and comply with all local, state, and company regulations.
• Background check and appropriate state badging may be required.
• Desire to learn about cannabinoids, terpenes and product use methods.
• Ability to use basic office equipment and software (Word, Excel, email).
• Learn and understand Federal, State, and local laws relating to cannabis and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and patients with a positive attitude.
• Educate customers on cannabis products and usage, without offering medical advice.
• Guide customers to navigate product options and promote repeat visits.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant workstation and storefront.
• Process transactions at the POS and ensure inventory accuracy in METRC/BioTrack.
• Support store management and other Cannabis Advisors as needed.
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety requirements.
