Job summary

Curaleaf is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support a high-performing retail team in a fast-paced cannabis environment. You will act as Manager on Duty, coach staff, and drive revenue while upholding brand standards and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with Store and District Managers, lead selling behaviors, manage cash and inventory, and ensure excellent guest experiences. This role requires flexibility, strong leadership, and a customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year retail or customer service experience.
• Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience.
• Strong business acumen and KPI focus.
• Fluent English reading, writing and speaking.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Experience in a heavily regulated industry.
• Leadership and team-building skills.
• Sales-driven with revenue focus.
• Detail-oriented cash handling and POS.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Store Manager and District Manager to maximize revenue.
• Lead selling behaviors aligned with brand culture to build loyalty and hit financial targets.
• Monitor customer service and coach team members.
• Share customer service best practices to deliver a delightful guest experience.
• Supervise store operations, shifts, and scheduling.
• Oversee cash handling, register counts, and bookkeeping tasks.
• Manage inventory trends and ordering to avoid outs/overstock.
• Maintain knowledge of POS systems and LeafLogix.
• Travel to other locations for training and coverage (10%-25%).
