Job summary

Curaleaf is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in leading a high-performing team and delivering an exceptional customer experience. You will contribute to achieving financial targets and brand loyalty while representing Curaleaf with professionalism.

The role requires open availability on weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights, with travel to other locations for training and coverage. Strong leadership and cash-handling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of retail and/or customer service experience in a high-paced selling environment.
• Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience.
• Strong business acumen and ability to measure success via financial targets and KPIs.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with Store Manager, District Manager and cross-functional partners to maximize revenue opportunities.
• Lead selling behaviors aligned with brand culture to build loyalty and meet financial targets.
• Monitor customer service and coach team members.
• Share customer service best practices to deliver a distinctive guest experience.
• Supervise store operations: opening/closing, scheduling, task delegation.
• Manage cash handling: register counts, bank withdrawals, safe deposits, cash reports, time records.
• Analyze inventory trends and supervise stock levels.
• Maintain knowledge of computer systems and software (e.g. POS).
• Comply with company policies; maintain respectful relationships.
• Travel to other locations for training/coverage; travel 10-25%.
