Job summary

Good Day Farm is seeking a Lead to join our Missouri cannabis retail team. You will drive performance, foster an inclusive store culture, and ensure exceptional customer experiences at every touchpoint.

The role combines hands-on leadership, operational knowledge, and a passion for cannabis education and service. Responsibilities include training staff, managing daily cash and opening/closing procedures, maintaining inventory accuracy, and leading customer engagement and promotions to grow

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and industry trends.
• Strong understanding of local and state regulations governing cannabis operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel to multiple locations per week.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive attitude and flexibility.
• Microsoft Suite experience.
• Familiarity with POS systems, Dutchie, METRC, or other cannabis-specific software preferred.
• Strong cash counting skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in daily store opening/closing duties including cash handling and balance.
• Train staff, run daily huddles, and motivate team to meet goals.
• Coach staff and set standards of success for every team member.
• Build relationships with customers and promote excellent service.
• Oversee inventory processes, reconciliation, and vault organization.
• Promote sales through customer engagement and upselling.
• Ensure compliance with store policies and regulations.
• Support team morale and participation in store events and promotions.
