Shangri-La is hiring a Lead Associate to help manage daily store operations and mentor the team while remaining customer facing. You will guide the floor, support onboarding, coach performance, and drive store metrics.

The role emphasizes maintaining compliance, enabling a positive customer experience, and partnering with leadership to improve operations. With a base focus on teamwork and accountability, you will contribute to a high-performing dispensary environment.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or dispensary experience preferred.
• Leadership or key holder experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to stay organized and handle multiple priorities.
• Meets all state requirements to work in a dispensary.

Responsibilities

• Leading the Floor: Help manage the daily flow of the sales floor and customer experience. Support Associates during busy periods and more complex interactions. Act as a go to for questions, direction, and support throughout the shift.
• Supporting the Team: Help onboard and train new team members. Reinforce company standards, expectations, and SOPs. Provide real time coaching and feedback to support team development.
• Driving Customer Experience and Sales: Ensure every customer receives a consistent and high quality experience. Support store goals such as AOV, UPT, and overall customer satisfaction. Step in to resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely way.
• Maintaining Compliance and Operations: Ensure ID checks, transactions, and daily processes are completed correctly. Support inventory counts, audits, and delivery check ins. Help maintain a clean, organized, and audit ready environment.
• Partnering with Leadership: Support Managers and Assistant Managers with daily operations. Communicate any issues, trends, or opportunities you are seeing. Help maintain accountability and consistency across the team.
