High Plainz Strains in Fort Lupton, CO, is seeking an Assistant Manager for our cannabis dispensary. This full-time role involves supervising staff, managing cash, and ensuring a compliant, customer-focused retail operation.

The successful candidate will lead shifts, coordinate front desk teams and budtenders, and respond to customer and employee issues with sound judgment and policy-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or shift-lead experience required.
• Strong organization and time management essential.
• Ability to supervise employees and manage cash.
• Good judgment and practical problem-solving abilities.
• Professional verbal and written communication.
• Willingness to own problems and escalate when needed.
• Cannabis retail experience helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store activity during assigned shifts and direct Front Desk staff and Budtenders.
• Balance cash drawers, reconcile discrepancies and manage openings/closings.
• Address customer issues and employee concerns with professional solutions.
• Enforce procedures, policies and compliance with Colorado MED requirements.
• Communicate issues to the next shift and store leadership to maintain smooth operations.
• Provide high-quality customer service while maintaining a compliant, organized retail environment.
