Job summary

Story Cannabis seeks a Shift Lead to guide daily store operations and ensure top-tier customer experiences. You will lead the retail team, oversee onboarding, and uphold compliance and store standards.

The role requires 1+ year supervisory experience, POS proficiency, and strong communication. Must be 21+, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and capable of handling physical tasks and all scheduling needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• 1+ years of supervisory or team lead experience in a retail, hospitality, or cannabis environment.
• Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications.
• Marijuana knowledge strongly preferred.
• Must be over 21 years of age and can legally work in the United States.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Must have a valid State-Issued ID or U.S. Passport and reliable transportation.
• Must have no scheduling restrictions and successful background checks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations and guide the retail team.
• Oversee onboarding for all new retail associates.
• Track daily and monthly inventory.
• Restock the sales floor with cannabis and non-cannabis products.
• Open and close the store as needed.
• Support the Management team and maintain store standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service per established standards.
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA-related guidelines.
