Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years retail or customer service experience.
• Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word; advanced knowledge in Excel.
• Must be 21+ years old and pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer experience.
• Accurately log customer in computer systems.
• Accurate records customer transactions in POS system.
• Ensure all technology platforms are updated with current information (sales, events, marketing materials).
• Handles all returns, exchanges and employee purchases.
• Ensures inventory controller is notified of all returns for vendor/credit processing.
• Completes opening and closing duties and secures venue.
• Ensures seamless customer experience and exceed expectations.
• Authorizes discounts and changes on receipts.
• Ensures display cases have uniform offerings and labeling.
• Executes marketing efforts as directed by Retail Leadership.
• Maintains ambiance and cleanliness throughout venue.
• Keeps track of daily/weekly sales, promotions, and discounts.
• Assists in training of new employees.
• Oversees floor to ensure staff are on task.
• Maintains proper cash-handling procedures and tip-pooling distributions.
• Accounts for cash and notes cash variances.
• Reports personnel issues to manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
