Job summary

Ascend Wellness Holdings, Inc. in Wayne, PA seeks a Part-Time Dispensary Associate to guide customers through the cannabis purchasing experience, offer informed product recommendations, and maintain accurate, efficient service in a fast-paced retail setting.

Responsibilities include delivering best-in-class customer service, processing sales, keeping displays up to date, handling cash and POS with precision, and complying with state/local laws while expanding product knowledge to help customers

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Retail experience preferred; cannabis retail experience a plus.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Cannabis POS software a plus.
• Positive attitude, team player and strong work ethic.
• Willing to learn applicable state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class customer experience while maintaining operational integrity and compliance.
• Guide customers through sales transactions with advice and knowledge as needed.
• Ensure the sales floor is stocked and displays/menus are up-to-date and accurate.
• Fulfill and pack customer orders for pickup.
• Promote a positive, customer-service oriented work environment.
• Continuously develop product knowledge to advise customers.
• Respond to customer inquiries in store, online, and over the phone.
• Accurately use and maintain the POS system and handle cash.
• Data entry and processing of transactions with accuracy.
• Aim to achieve team and individual performance goals.
• Verify proper paperwork and IDs for customers.
• Assist with inventory, merchandising, and store operations as directed.
• Report inconsistencies or hazards to Store Leadership.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe store environment.
• Complete opening and closing checklists.
