Ascend Wellness Holdings, Inc. in Springfield, IL seeks a Part-Time Dispensary Associate to guide customers through cannabis purchases, offer product recommendations, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced retail environment.

Part-time role requires 15–29 hours weekly with AM/PM shifts and weekend availability. Candidates should be 21+, have a HS diploma or GED, and bring strong customer service, basic computer skills, and POS familiarity. Cannabis retail experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Retail experience preferred; cannabis retail a plus.
• Customer service skills are essential.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills.
• Cannabis POS software experience is a plus.
• Positive attitude; team player and strong work ethic.
• Must comply with state/local cannabis regulations.
• Excellent organization and time management.
• Clear and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver best-in-class customer experience while maintaining operational integrity and compliance.
• Guide customers through sales and offer informed advice when needed.
• Keep sales floor stocked, displays up-to-date, and store well maintained.
• Fulfill orders and move items from fulfillment to sales floor for pickup.
• Promote a positive, customer-service oriented environment per policies.
• Maintain product knowledge for accurate recommendations.
• Answer customer inquiries in-store, online, and by phone.
• Use and maintain the POS system accurately.
• Ensure accurate cash handling and checkout processes.
• Complete required paperwork and identity verification for customers.
• Assist with inventory, merchandising, and in-store operations as directed.
