Job summary

Green Thumb Industries (GTI) is hiring a Personal Care Specialist for in-store, one-on-one customer interactions in our dispensary. You will guide patients and customers to the right GTI products and consumption methods, ensuring safety and compliance while delivering exceptional service.

The role emphasizes product knowledge, education, and a friendly, barista-like interaction style. You’ll work as part of our GTI team to maintain inventory, assist with orders, and uphold all regulations.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service experience; preference for candidates with specialty, customer-facing retail experience
• Meet the scheduling and availability requirements to meet business needs (varying shifts incl. mornings, days, nights, weekends)
• Must have reliable, responsible, and dependable attendance
• Must be 21 years or older
• Must pass all required background checks including state cannabis employment requirements
• Possess valid driver’s license or state ID
• Must comply with all legal or company regulations for working in cannabis
• Prior cannabis experience not required

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assist patients and/or customers in a customer-facing, intimate retail environment
• Educate patients and/or customers on products, methods of consumption, and safety as part of patient interaction
• Recommend safe and effective regimens based on individual needs and maintain product knowledge
• Promote a positive, communicative, patient/customer-oriented work environment
• Assist in verifying order deliveries for accuracy
• Support store operations to ensure smooth, compliant daily activities
• Enforce local and state cannabis regulations and maintain store presence
• Keep dispensary stocked and well-maintained
• Maintain hard copy files as required
• Follow security measures and safety compliance procedures
• Complete duties at assigned workstations during shifts
• Front of House: Check In, Sales Floor, POS, Curbside, Roll Thru; Back of House: Fulfillment, Receiving, Replenishment, Inventory; Maintenance: cleanliness and safety
